"STAND (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur) is a student initiative that seeks to create awareness about, take political action on and raise funds to relieve the genocide in Darfur, Sudan. The National STAND Coalition brings together over 200 colleges and high schools in the United States and Canada."

Challah for Hunger
Challah for Hunger is a national student organization that addresses humanitarian issues in a unique way: through the creation and sale of challah. The organization is based at the Claremont Colleges, with new chapters forming across the country. To date, the organization has raised over $15,000 for the American Jewish World Service Emergency Appeal for Darfur.

This website details and facilitates the nationwide effort to divest state pension funds of companies that carry out business with Sudan.
